Put in dollars and hold a share of a season. 8 fields across 6 states do the work — corn in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska; soybeans in Illinois, Iowa; wheat in Kansas, North Dakota; cotton in Texas. When a season closes the grain is weighed, the costs come out, the farmer takes his share, and what is left stays in the vault, where it makes every share worth more.
A share is bought with USDG at whatever the vault held before the money arrived, and redeemed in dollars whenever the vault is holding them: the season's income stays in the vault, the share count does not change, and every share is worth more at once. There is nothing to buy a share from yet — no vault is deployed — and this register is what one will be read through.
What follows is the working— the registered lease, the county's own yields, and this month's price of the crop, multiplied out the way the contract multiplies it. It is not a projection of a season that has not happened, and it is not a promise about the one that has.

The contract does not take these figures on trust.recordSeasonrecomputes every line from the acres, the yield and the price it is handed, and refuses a report whose lines do not multiply out to the total it claims — and it refuses a report claiming more than the vault actually received since the last one. So a deposit cannot be mistaken for a harvest: money that arrives unearned is carried forward and disclosed rather than quietly absorbed.
A cash-rent field is the exception, and the table keeps it: a rent does not care what the crop did, so its line is the lease — $62 and $275 an acre — it carries no yield and no costs, and the crop's price sits beside it as context rather than as a term of the arithmetic.
How it works
01
You put in dollars
USDG in, a share of the season out. Shares are priced at what the vault held before your money arrived, so arriving cannot dilute anyone who was already there. Nothing to pay to come in.
02
The fields do the work
Seed, rain, sun, and a combine at three in the morning. Inputs and the farmer's share come out of the crop before the vault sees anything, and the farmer is paid before the report is written.
03
Your share is worth more
Nothing lands in your wallet. The season's income stays in the vault, the share count has not changed, and the share price rises for every holder at once. Redeem whenever you like, in dollars, with no fee to leave.
What this is not
A farm has not signed yet.The register above describes the season the local chain settles, with yields transcribed from the USDA and prices read from the Federal Reserve's own service. When a lease is signed, the county, the acreage and the operator's name on this page become a particular farm's — and not before.
A share is not a deed.It carries the season's income and none of the rights of owning land: no title, no vote over what gets planted, no claim on the ground itself.
The names are placeholders.Halden Prairie and the rest are invented, drawn from the ground they stand on, and no farm of that name is being described or offered. A real farm's own name goes into the register when a lease is signed — and the operator line reads “not yet signed” until then.
A season can lose money.Hail, drought, a flooded spring, a tariff, a price that falls between the combine and the elevator — any of them can turn a year negative, and the value of a share can go down. A report will show those seasons too, in the same columns.
Nothing here is a projection, and no figure on this page has been smoothed, annualised or described as a rate of return.
Where every number came from
Prices.FRED, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' public data service, series PMAIZMTUSDM, PMAIZMTUSDM, PSOYBUSDM, PWHEAMTUSDM, PMAIZMTUSDM, PSOYBUSDM, PWHEAMTUSDM, PCOTTINDUSDM — a global price per metric tonne, converted to bushels at 56 lb for maize and 60 lb for wheat and soybeans. Monthly observations, July 2026, read when this page was built.
Yields and rents. USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service county estimates and the annual Land Values report where they were in hand, transcribed into the register beside each field and reprinted under it with their basis. 4 of the 8fields carry a county's own published figure; the rest are regional averages standing in for a lease that has not been signed, and each one says so on its own card.
Imagery.NAIP orthoimagery served by the USGS, a United States government work in the public domain, read at each field's own coordinates. The capture date and the raster under each window are the service's, and so is the resolution it holds the frame at. Each window is cut from that service once and carried with this site, because the service renders on demand and a card with a photograph missing from it is not a card.
Weather.Open-Meteo's reanalysis: rain and temperatures for each field's own coordinates, in inches and in degrees, from which the growing degree days are summed above a base of 50 °F. It is the one figure on the page that is a grid estimate rather than a published record — a cell is about 25 km across — and it is printed as one.
The arithmetic. The same multiplication the vault performs, including the fact that it truncates — the figures here are whole dollars because the contract's are.
The vault itself is not deployed yet, and this page says so rather than implying otherwise: what is here is the register and the arithmetic a report will be checked against. The two pages left over from the earlier stock-token work — its vault and its monthly roll — are kept because that roll is the shape this page's report will take. Their contract has left the repository, and both pages say so at the top.
Where the money goes, and the rail it can arrive on
Robinhood Chain · the vault
USDG is that chain's own stablecoin and the vault is an EVM contract, so a share is bought and redeemed there with an ordinary wallet. Nothing is deployed, which is why there is no form on this page: the register is what the vault will be read through.
Chain 4663 · ETH for gas · USDG for the money · the register read through the vault's own navPerShare and its seasons, never a stored figure.
Solana · the rail
USDG is a LayerZero OFT, so it moves between chains, and Solana is one of the chains it moves to. Connecting a wallet here records where a payout could be sent. It is not a deposit, it holds nothing, and nothing is deployed on Solana yet.
solanathe rail, not a deposit: nothing is deployed on Solana yet
